A firm believer in the principles of doing well by doing good, Simon chairs the World Trade Board and is passionate about how technology and open trade can drive financial inclusion and improve people’s lives.
An inspiring and trusted Fintech thought leader, Simon speaks regularly at large-scale events including the annual World Trade Symposium, Paris FinTech Forum and The Milken Asia Summit. He is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, with refreshing and candid views on equality in the workplace. He was also named in Bank Innovation’s ‘Innovators to Watch’ list for 2018.
Simon joined Finastra (formerly Misys) as President in 2015, was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer in 2017 and became Chief Executive Officer in June 2018. He brings more than 20 years of sales, management and global leadership expertise to the company, having previously held the role of President, Industry Cloud, at SAP. Prior to that he was a senior consultant with McKinsey & Company.
He holds a degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the INSEAD Business School in France and a Bachelor’s degree in Business & European languages from the European Business School.

Based in Finastra’s London Headquarters, Eric takes responsibility for the company’s entire go-to-market organization including global sales, services and consultancy, as well as overseeing the Finastra partner ecosystem.
His career in the technology space spans more than 20 years, addressing a wide spectrum of large enterprises and small and medium size businesses. These include senior leadership positions at SAP and Oracle. Before joining Finastra in February 2019, he was Chief Customer Officer and member of the Management Board at Software AG, responsible for global sales, consulting services, customer support and marketing.

Akber is responsible for Corporate and Business Development activities as well as the orchestration and delivery of our strategy across the business.
Akber previously worked at Colt Technology Services where he was general manager of its Data Centre Services business as well as holding various corporate roles across Business Development, Strategy and Architecture. He also spent three years on assignment in Asia, where he was accountable for investments into the region, and operations for an acquired business.
Before joining Colt, Akber undertook a number of commercial roles with several Silicon Valley start-ups in the software, digital and mobile sectors. Prior to this, he was a management consultant across the financial services and technology sectors.
Akber holds a B.Sc. in Economics. He also holds a M.Sc. in Information Systems and is a graduate from the London School of Economics (LSE) as well as being an AMP graduate from Harvard Business School.
As the Chief Product and Technology Officer, Eli is responsible for our Product and Technology organizations. His main areas of accountability include Product, Solution and Platform Strategy, Product Portfolio Management, Product Management, Innovation, Customer Centric Design, Architecture, Engineering, and Quality Assurance.
Eli brings more than 25 years of experience to the role, from product and platform strategy and architecture, to the solutions development lifecycle and data center operations. Before joining Finastra, Eli held leadership positions at NCR Corp, a global technology company. He was most recently CTO and Head of Product Management, driving the transformation from a hardware and services company to a global leader in platform, data and solutions for financial services, retail and hospitality.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Martin Häring is a member of the executive leadership team at Finastra and responsible for the global marketing organization and strategy.
A driver of innovation with over 25 years’ experience in technology marketing, Martin is an influential tech marketer and regular speaker and blogger on digital transformation within the world of financial services. Examining how technology can unlock the potential of people and businesses and enable financial inclusion, Martin is recognized for his thought leadership around Open Banking. He is also known for his focus on client engagement and pioneering ideas around enhancing the customer experience.
Martin joined Finastra (formerly Misys) in October 2013 as Chief Marketing Officer and, prior to that, held executive leadership positions at Sun Microsystems, Oracle and Akamai Technologies Inc. – a content delivery network and cloud security services provider.

As Chief Financial Officer, Mark has full responsibility for our G&A organizations including Finance, Risk, Legal and Procurement.
Mark joined Finastra in May 2019 and has extensive finance leadership experience in the software and technology space. Mark joined Finastra from Marketo Incorporated (a Marketing Technology company based in San Mateo, California) and served as its CFO since April 2017. He previously served as CFO of ACTIVE Network and was the CFO of Sabre Holdings for four years during the company’s ownership by TPG and Silverlake. During his 18 years with Sabre, he also served as the Chief Accounting Officer while the company was publicly traded on the NYSE, SVP of Financial Planning and various other operational finance positions. Over the course of his career, he has led multiple business transformation initiatives, completed more than 15 M&A transactions, and consistently driven operational and financial excellence.
Earlier in his career Mark worked for Ernst & Young, Hertz Corporation, and LTV Corporation.
Mark is a Certificated Public Accountant in Texas. He has an undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University and an MBA in Finance from Rice University.

Until June 2017, Tom held the role of COO for Misys. Between June 2017 and February 2018, Tom was fully dedicated to leading the planning and execution of the Integration of D+H and Misys to become one company, Finastra, with over 10,000 employees, 9,000 customers (including 48 of the world’s top 50 banks) and revenues of ~$2.1B.
As Finastra’s Chief Operating Officer, Tom leads around 3,000 of the company's employees around the globe striving for our customers' success, including Customer Support, Cloud Operations, Technology Enabled Managed Services and Financial Messaging Services. In addition, Tom oversees the company's HR, Real Estate and Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) teams.
Tom joined Misys in 2009. During a series of roles, he has been variously responsible for Customer Support, Cloud Enablement, Platform as a Service, Corporate Development, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Facilities and Procurement. In 2012, Tom was Acting Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Misys plc, then listed in London. He led the company through a transition period, culminating in a take-private with Vista Equity Partners.
Prior to 2009, Tom spent eight years with GE Healthcare, a division of the General Electric Company, in a series of roles, ultimately as General Counsel, EMEA, where he was a member of a leadership team responsible for a business with revenues of more than $5B.
Tom began his career in the City of London. He is admitted as a solicitor (non-practising) in England & Wales. He graduated from Oxford University with a BA (Hons) in Metallurgy & Materials Science.
Finastra Leadership Team
Anand has responsibility for all our retail banking and digital banking products and solutions for the Rest of World including product strategy, product management, development, quality assurance and delivery of all new product releases; as well as enablement of Sales, Professional Services, Customer Support and Partners.
Anand joined Finastra in 2018. He previously worked at Oracle where he was VP of Products for the Cloud HCM Business. Anand spent 18 years at Oracle in several roles across engineering, product management and strategy both in the US and in India. Before joining Oracle, Anand worked at a Financial Services start-up in San Francisco and also did a stint in strategy consulting in Boston.
Anand holds a B.E. in Electronics Engineering from NIT Trichy and an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad both in India.
As Executive Vice President of Global Services, Andrew has responsibility for the global Professional Services field organisation.
Andrew joined Finastra (formely Misys) in September 2016 and brings more than 30 years’ international IT and services experience to the company. He came to Misys having worked as a private consultant with two premium UK-based private equity firms.
Prior to this, Andrew held roles as Interim Chief Operations Officer at AE Power International, Regional Managing Director at International SOS, Senior Vice President at SAP, and Vice President Northern Europe at SSA Global. Andrew’s career also includes roles with i2 Technologies, PwC, Oracle, Unisys Corporation and the British Forces.
Chris is the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Sales, Americas, leading the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy for Finastra’s large enterprise business in the region. He is responsible for cross-functional alignment, capacity development, and support of a solution-based approach, designed to create a better end-user experience for customers.
Chris brings to Finastra over 20 years of experience leading global sales teams in financial software sales and strategy. Throughout his career, he has focused on expanding sales capacity by developing, implementing and managing infrastructures to support a solution-based sales methodology. Prior to joining Finastra (then Fundtech), he was Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at Calypso Technology, and had previously held positions with SuperDerivatives and Thomson Reuters.
Christine Larsen is an international sales operations executive whose experience ranges across business operations, go-to-market transformation and sales performance optimization.
Based in London, Christine joined Finastra in November 2018. She is responsible for enabling the success of Finastra’s sales force, including sales effectiveness initiatives, sales compensation and sales tools and processes.
Prior to this, Christine led Global Sales Performance & Go-To-Market at SITA. She has also held a number of positions with Hewlett-Packard, most recently as Director of Sales Strategy & Customer Intelligence for the Personal Systems Group with responsibility for the Americas. The early part of her career was spent with Compaq.

Darren leads the global finance organization at Finastra. Based in London, he is responsible for all finance activities across the company, working closely with his team to ensure a robust operating model.
Prior to joining Finastra, Darren was Executive Vice President, Commercial Finance, at Sage, where he also led a global finance transformation program. Before that he was Chief Financial Officer at Freightliner Group and has also held senior roles at Inchcape, Marconi and Rolls Royce.
With 30 years’ experience working in finance, across both public and private companies, Darren has significant experience working in supply chain, software and technology companies, creating value for organizations by driving growth and profit improvement initiatives and leading change and cost reduction programs.
He has a demonstrable track record in delivering large scale finance transformation programs. This includes developing and improving robust accounting and reporting frameworks, and introducing and embedding finance business partnering capabilities.

As Chief Risk Officer, Elona is responsible for a broad portfolio of risk management matters across Finastra and leads the company’s continued focus on world-class risk management strategies, including information security, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management and governance, working closely with regulators, clients and partners.
Prior to joining Finastra, Elona was SVP, Enterprise Risk Management, at Black Knight, with overall accountability for development, implementation, and governance of the company’s Risk framework and supporting programs.
Elona brings more than 15 years of experience from large financial institutions, building foundational components and driving transformational maturity efforts in Enterprise Risk Management, Information Security, IT Governance, and Regulatory Compliance programs at U.S. Bank and Wells Fargo Bank.
She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise Information Technology (CGEIT), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), and holds an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management.
As Senior Vice President, Customer Support, Greg has responsibility for the global Customer Support organisation at Finastra.
Greg brings more 20 years of experience in the financial services and technology sectors. He was previously Group Head Customer Support at Finastra (formerly D+H). Before joining Finastra he was Executive Vice President Sales at Dealfind.com.
Prior to this, Greg held roles as Vice President Customer Operations and Service Delivery MTS Allstream. Prior to this Greg held a variety of senior roles at Bell Canada: Vice President Customer Experience, Vice President Process Transformation and Vice President of Small and Medium Business.
Hannes is a software industry veteran and part of the senior leadership team at Finastra.
He is responsible for the company’s team of customer-facing product experts including the customer value team, solution principals and solution consultants. His team advises on how Finastra’s offerings and innovations can create value for the company’s clients.
Hannes joined Finastra from SAP, where he held several senior management positions including COO and Co-Managing Director for the Middle East and North Africa, as well as having been the General Manager for SAP’s flagship business suite product SAP S/4HANA in Europe.
He is a tech enthusiast and has a sound understanding of how digital capabilities are changing the parameters of the financial services industry.
Hannes holds degrees from two leading business schools in Spain and Germany (ICADE Madrid and ESB Reutlingen). He is also the Co-Founder of Good Future and Hope, an NGO that rescues, raises and equips orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda.

As the Vice-President of Internal Audit, John is charged with leading the Internal Audit function to achieve world-class standards. In his role, he is responsible for sharpening the Audit team’s focus on key risks that affect the Company’s strategic objectives.
John joined Finastra (formerly D+H) in 2014. Prior to joining Finastra, John previously managed audit teams at Phillip Morris International, AIG & CIT Group. John has over 25 years of experience in Internal Audit, Compliance/Risk and Fraud Prevention in the financial services and law enforcement sectors.
Mike serves as Senior Vice President of Community Markets, Americas, at Finastra.
Mike is responsible for developing the company’s go-to-market strategy as well as overseeing all sales and account management activities. Further, he chairs a board of cross-functional leaders responsible for the well-being of over 4,000 Finastra community banks and credit union clients across North America.
Mike brings more than 30 years of experience helping community banks and credit unions meet their objectives. His insight into the continuing evolution of how these unique institutions serve the needs of their customers and members, is relied upon by senior executives that view him as a consultative partner regarding growth strategies, industry trends and strategic planning.
Prior to his successes at Finastra, Mike has led teams in sales and strategy at Bankserv Inc., a leading provider of payment technologies to the financial industry, and at Netik, Inc., a UK based data warehousing and middleware firm. Throughout his career, he has maintained a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Mike is an established thought-leader on the North American community markets and is called on regularly by media outlets including American Banker, Banking Exchange, Credit Union Times, and CU Broadcast, to name but a few.
As Executive Vice President of Sales for EMEA and APAC, Ryan is responsible for client relationships, go-to-market strategy, pipeline development, and key strategic initiatives that will drive growth for our business across all products and the EMEA and APAC territories. Ryan brings over 30 years of experience in running software businesses and sales leadership.
Ryan has held several leadership positions at Misys (now Finastra), with the most recent being Global Head of Sales. Ryan joined Misys in March 2012 from SunGard, where he was Managing Director for EMEA for the Trading Segment and ran the sales teams for front and back office trading systems. Prior to SunGard, Ryan was the Head of Americas for GL Trade, where he ran all aspects of the business unit and was responsible for building the Latin American business later acquired by SunGard.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University. After graduation, Ryan also served as a Captain in the US Army Reserves for 11 years where he held various leadership positions.
As the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Payments, Sagive has responsibility over the strategy and development of the end to end payment business. His mission is to make sure our customers are deriving the maximum possible value from our payments system and solutions.
Embracing his passion of connecting technology, innovation and people, over the last 20 years Sagive has held many diverse executive roles within the telecoms industry. Prior to joining Finastra, Sagive worked at Amdocs as Division President of their System Integration Services and New Ventures business.
Shuki is responsible for defining and driving Finastra’s innovation strategy and delivery. As well as supporting development in line with the Finastra vision to be the number one open platform in the world of financial services, he leads collaborative challenges and workshops with customers and partners to spark new ideas and encourage co-creation. He and his team also run internal innovation sprints and hackathons to unearth exciting new ideas from within the business.
Harnessing best practices including design thinking, a lean start-up mentality and agile development, Shuki and team are trialling and integrating Finastra technology with the latest developments, from artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) to blockchain and open APIs. At Finastra offices around the world, and from the innovation labs in Budapest and Atlanta, they move ideation to demo-ready products that will help create the next generation of financial services.
Prior to joining Finastra in May 2018, Shuki was Head of NCR Innovations Labs. He was responsible for innovation activities across three business verticals including financial services, retail and hospitality. At NCR he oversaw the global innovation process and teams committed to developing demo-ready solutions, which supported millions of dollars in revenue at the company. With over 20 years’ experience in software architecture and innovation, he has also previously held Software Architect and innovations team lead roles at Micron Technology, Numonyx and Intel, amongst others.
Shuki has degrees in Civil Engineering and Software Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. He speaks regularly at industry events on innovation, including the AI Summit in New York.

As Senior Vice President, Group General Counsel, Simon is responsible for all legal, compliance and commercial operations across Finastra’s global business. In addition to these responsibilities, Simon regularly chairs the global deal approval committee.
Simon has been with Finastra since 2008. Prior to joining the company, Simon worked as an attorney in private practice for a leading firm of lawyers in the City of London, before moving into industry where he has held senior roles in several well-known international technology companies.
Simon is involved in all aspects of Finastra’s business, drawing upon his broad business management skills as well as his extensive experience in managing transactions with international technology customers.
Based between Finastra’s Toronto and Mississauga offices, Siobhan is responsible for the strategic direction of Technology Enabled Managed Services (TEMS) at Finastra. She oversees planning and execution, sales and marketing, R&D and product management across four lines of business including, Checks, Enhanced Services, Student Lending and Canadian Mortgage Technology (CMT).
With more than 25 years of experience in IT and channel management, Siobhan has a proven track record leading and growing prominent technology companies. Most recently, she was the Vice President and General Manager of Westcon-Comstor Canada (a division of Synnex Canada Limited), leading the company’s operations in the region. Past positions include serving as President of Forsythe Technology Canada (now Sirius), where she built the Canadian business and launched the company’s managed services business arm for Forsythe Technology globally, and Vice President of Professional Services at MTS Allstream, a leading communication solutions provider where she was a responsible for the sales, delivery and operations in region. She started her career in IT at Bank of Ireland.
Siobhan is highly regarded as a leader in the technology sector, earning a prestigious spot on Computer Dealer News’ ‘Top 20 Women of the Channel’ list for her work in the Canadian IT sector. Other industry recognition includes being named among CRN’s ‘Top 100 Women of the Channel’ in 2017 and 2018. She is a fierce advocate for diversity, having been involved in various Women’s and LGBTQ initiatives.
Siobhan has a bachelor’s degree in computing science from the University of Ulster, Ireland, and an MBA from the University of Liverpool. As Senior Vice President and General Manager for Corporate Banking, Torsten is responsible for continuing and expanding Finastra’s leadership position in the Corporate Banking space, where we are a key global provider of all of the functionality that a business requires from its bank. Under his purview fall all Corporate Banking products and solutions, covering Lending, Trade, Supply Chain Finance, Cash Management, Corporate Channels, and Connected Corporate Banking components, such as Master Data Management and Fees & Billing. He is accountable for Product Strategy, Product Management, Development, Quality Assurance and Delivery of all new product releases; as well as enablement of Sales, Professional Services, Customer Support and Partners.
Torsten joined Finastra in July 2018, coming from Deutsche Bank where he spent over 19 years in various leadership positions in Investment & Transaction Banking Technology. Recently, he held the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Cash and Global Head of Cash Operations as well as interim CIO for Trade Finance. Torsten was also responsible for defining the technical open API strategy for Deutsche Bank’s Global Transaction Banking business.
Torsten holds a MSc in Business Economics from the University of Trier.
Vincent Pugliese is our Senior Vice President and General Manager for US Retail and Lending, responsible for P&L, product strategy, execution, and overall Go to Market of the products and solutions targeting the US Community Markets. Vincent recently joined Finastra from NCR, where he was the VP, SW Product Management & Engineering, Platform, accountable for the company’s cross-industry platform business strategy and execution. Vincent led the transformation of NCR from a product company to a platform company, focused on removing points of friction to build out the ecosystem of platform producers and consumers. He also held key software engineering and product management leadership roles across Retail and Financial Services in his tenure there. Prior to joining NCR in 2013, Vincent held roles at Audatex (a Solera company), MedImpact Healthcare Systems Inc., Mitchell International, Stellcom, and Quake Wireless.
