Wissam Khoury

Since joining Finastra in 2017, Wissam has charted a dynamic leadership journey shaped by experience and versatility – moving fluidly across disciplines and regions, to serve as a catalyst for geographic expansion and deepening strategic impact.

He began as Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa, where he played a pivotal role in accelerating fintech adoption and strengthening Finastra’s regional presence. In 2019, he expanded his remit to include Asia Pacific, becoming Senior Vice President for MEA & APAC, to drive growth across diverse markets with a focus on customer fulfilment and operational excellence.

In 2020, Wissam relocated to London and added Europe to his portfolio, taking on the role of Head of Go-To-Market. In this capacity, he led Finastra’s commercial strategy across EMEA and APAC to drive growth by aligning global teams, deepening customer partnerships and scaling regional footprints.

Since 2022, Wissam has served as Executive Vice President of Treasury & Capital Markets, steering the global TCM organization. He is committed to expanding Finastra’s partner ecosystem and inspiring innovation. Wissam actively supports initiatives which are dedicated to making social impact.

With over 25 years of experience in financial technology, Wissam has consistently built high-performing teams and delivered transformative results. Prior to Finastra, he held senior leadership roles at FIS, where he established and grew operations across the Middle East and Africa, led the solution practice at Reuters and helped launch the TCM business at Misys.

Wissam holds an MBA from NYU Stern, the London School of Economics, and HEC Paris. He also earned a BBA from the American University of Beirut and is a certified Financial Risk Manager through the Global Association of Risk Professionals.

Outside of work, Wissam enjoys traveling with his wife and three daughters, exploring new cultures, and participating in track days and car racing.
