Bronwen Maddox is the Director and CEO of Chatham House and former Director of the Institute for Government. Previously Foreign Editor and Chief Foreign Commentator at The Times and Editor of Prospect magazine, she is known for her sharp analysis and is the author of In Defence of America. At The Times, she oversaw award‑winning coverage of 9/11 and reporting from Baghdad during the Iraq war.
