Boris Lipiainen

As Executive Vice President and General Manager, TCM and Risk Management, Boris has responsibility for all our retail banking and treasury and capital markets products and solutions including product strategy, product management, development, quality assurance and delivery of all new product releases; as well as enablement of Sales, Professional Services, Customer Support and Partners.

Boris joined Finastra (formerly Misys) in June 2012 when Misys and Turaz, the Kondor+ business from Thomson Reuters, merged and became Global Head of Product Management, responsible for the Misys product strategy and product management. Prior to that Boris ran the R&D function for the Kondor+ business at Thomson Reuters since 2007.

Before joining Thomson Reuters, Boris was an Associate Principal in the McKinsey Business Technology Office in London, where his primary focus was on the banking and securities and software industries. Prior to that, he was a CIO/COO of a Russian bank.  He started his professional career in 1990 as a mathematician and a software engineer.
