Achim Thienel works for the Product Management team at Finastra in Europe as an expert for core banking in the cloud covering German speaking countries.
With over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry he specializes in banking processes front-to-back supporting global solutions, cloud operations, partner management, sales and marketing. He is also Managing Director at Finastra in Frankfurt. Before he joined Product Management he was part of the sales team as Account Manager for RBI and other clients for Finastra’s core banking solutions.
Prior to Finastra he was Manager Customer Services at a German core banking vendor. He holds a Master of Technical IT from the Technical University of Esslingen.
