Stuart Kirk is a well-known investment commentator, public speaker, and consultant, having worked for more than two decades in wide range of senior roles in finance and journalism. He currently writes a weekly column in the Financial Times as well as appearing regularly in newspapers and magazines around the world. Stuart has previously been the head of research and head of responsible investment at HSBC Asset Management, head of research at DWS, and head of multi-asset and thematic research at Deutsche Bank. He also edited the Financial Times’ Lex column during the financial crisis, worked as a management consultant at Oliver Wyman, and ran global equity portfolios at Morgan Grenfell. Stuart has a master’s in economics from the University of Cambridge where he was President of the Union Society.
