As the head of the Solutions & Assets division for Japanese financial institutions, Ryo oversees the planning, development, and maintenance of solutions across multiple teams (including core banking, digital, and channel systems).

He also serves as the Japan lead for IBM’s global core banking community, promoting collaboration with overseas package vendors.

With over 25 years of experience in business and IT consulting for banks, Ryo has supported major banks and regional financial institutions in business planning, operations, system consulting, and implementation.

In 2013, he was stationed in the U.S. and Singapore, where he established a special organization to support Japanese banks’ overseas branches and helped solve local client challenges.

After returning to Japan, he has collaborated with multiple overseas package vendors to help Japanese financial institutions advance in areas such as digital banking, mobile payments, and loans by leveraging global solutions.
