Ross Edwards

With over 20 years in financial services, Ross is a recognized expert in stablecoins, tokenization, and CBDCs, focusing on the development of institutional use cases and solutions on the XRP Ledger (XRPL).

Since joining Ripple in 2015, Ross has been instrumental in the company’s international expansion, jointly opening the first global office in Sydney. He also currently leads the Global RippleX Partner Engineering team, providing technical leadership to partners building within the XRPL ecosystem. His tenure includes establishing global payments collaborations, spearheading engagements across Southeast Asia, South Asia and the Middle East, and driving Ripple’s global CBDC business in collaboration with central banks and regulators.

A strong supporter of the Australian digital finance landscape, Ross represents Ripple on the Project Acacia Industry Advisory Group for the Reserve Bank of Australia. Prior to Ripple, he was a consultant at Accenture, specializing in payments and custody banking. Ross holds a Masters in Applied Finance and first-class honors degrees in Software Engineering and Pure Mathematics.
