Philippe Buron

Philippe brings more than 25 years of technology leadership in B2B financial services. He has held senior CTO and CIO roles at tier-one institutions including HSBC, Société Générale, BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and the London Stock Exchange, leading large-scale modernization and platform transformation programs.

Most recently, Philippe joined Finastra from Duco, where as CTO, he helped guide the business through significant growth, including scaling the organization and integrating an AI-powered data ingestion capability following an acquisition. Across his career, he has delivered complex legacy transformations and advanced architectures spanning cloud, SaaS, and AI-enabled platforms—focused on measurable outcomes for customers and the business.

Philippe holds a master’s degree in computer science applied to Finance from Paris-Dauphine University, with honors in Artificial Intelligence. He is known for building high-performing teams and fostering cultures that support delivery excellence, innovation, and agility.
