Nuno Veiga

Since 2024, he has served as President of the Angolan Association of Payment Service Providers (ASPSPA). He holds a postgraduate qualification in Information Systems Management from the University of Liverpool (2013), as well as academic training in Computer Science and Business Management from ISCTE-IUL (1997). He has more than 27 years of experience in Angolan banking, including senior leadership roles at BAI since 2009 across Information Systems, Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Marketing, where he contributed to the launch of BAI Directo and é-Kwanza. He also worked at Banco Totta de Angola and took part in the creation of Banco Sol and Banco BNI. Product innovation, process simplification and digitalization, and organizational transformation have been defining themes throughout his career.

He advocates collaboration among banks, fintechs, and other ecosystem players as a driver of competitiveness. At the Angola Reimagine Banking Forum, he brings a digital payments perspective on how to turn technology, compliance, and connectivity into customer value and sustainable growth.
