Natacha Baumann

Natacha Baumann was recently promoted to Head of Data Strategy at BNP Paribas Personal Finance, a position that allows her to harness her creativity, customer obsession, power of influence and entrepreneurial spirit to achieve her new mission: putting data at the core of the company’s strategy, as a lever of profitability and serving to achieve a more positive societal impact. She has worked at BNP Paribas for 13 years and prior to her recent promotion was Regional Head of Innovation, which included supporting new business opportunities and disruptive business models focused on issues related to sustainability, financial inclusion and the circular economy.

Natacha is an Advisory Board Member for ENRICH in Africa, an EU Horizon 2020 program designed to bring together stakeholders from Europe and Africa to strengthen the innovation ecosystem. She was one of the leaders in sponsoring Startupbootcamp Afritech, the leading corporate-backed accelerator in Africa, for which she selected and mentored 10 start-ups per year. Her organization was awarded Best Fintech Cooperation in 2018 as part of BNP Paribas’ Plug and Play program. She has participated in numerous conferences and hackathons, including as a judge in Finastra’s Hack to the Future 2020.

Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Natacha worked for several large retail chains throughout France and Asia.
