Mário Ferreira do Nascimento

Mário Eglicénio Baptista Ferreira do Nascimento holds a degree in Economics from the Higher Institute of Economics and Management (ISEG) at the Technical University of Lisbon (Portugal), specializing in Political Economy.
He has completed executive training programs at Católica Lisbon Business & Economics, Nova School of Business & Economics, and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
- He has served in several leadership and executive roles, including:
- Managing Director of Ernst & Young Angola, Lda.;
- Advisor to the Governor of the National Bank of Angola;
- Director of the Accounting and Financial Management Department of the National Bank of Angola;
- Executive Board Member of the Capital Markets Commission (CMC);
- Secretary of State for the Treasury;
- Interim Coordinating Administrator at Banco Angolano de Negócios e Comércio, appointed by the National Bank of Angola;
- Chief Executive Officer of Banco Sol S.A.
He currently serves as:
- Chair of the Executive Committee of the Angolan Banking Association (Associação Angolana de Bancos);
- Board Member of the Deposit Guarantee Fund (Fundo de Garantia de Depósitos).
