Kathleen Metz

Kathleen Metz is currently SVP of Lending at Affinity Federal Credit Union in New Jersey where she is responsible for all aspects of lending from residential mortgages to commercial loans including loan servicing and workout. Affinity has a commercial loan portfolio of roughly $400 million including construction loans, commercial mortgages, and SBA loans.

Prior to her 8 years at Affinity, Kathleen spent 16 years at The CIT Group most recently as a Director of Credit Risk Management at CIT Bank where she worked on risk rating methodologies, approved loan credits, and established policies and procedures. She also held positions such as Credit Analyst, AVP Closing Manager, AVP Compliance Manager, and VP Credit Manager in commercial lending areas ranging from small business lending to floorplan financing and franchise lending.
She started her career at a community bank in Princeton where she handled everything from payment processing to loan documentation rising from a Commercial Loan Processor to a Loan Officer over four years.

She has her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The College of New Jersey. Outside of work, Kathleen coaches youth cross country and track teams in Parsippany NJ and is a Girl Scout Troop Leader.
