Julie Bolan is APAC Market Lead for the Swift Scheme, where she works with central banks, payment systems and financial institutions across Asia-Pacific to support the adoption of global payment standards that enable faster, more transparent and more predictable cross-border payments.
She brings more than 30 years of experience across domestic and international payments, including senior leadership roles at Swift and Westpac, spanning payments modernisation, Australia’s New Payments Platform, and large-scale regulatory and financial crime transformation programmes. Her work focuses on enabling practical implementation of industry standards across complex, multi-jurisdictional payment ecosystems.
Julie is a recognised industry voice on cross-border payments, ISO 20022 and payment modernisation, and is a regular speaker at Sibos and other global industry forums.
