Alok Daga

With more than two decades at BMO, he is a senior technology executive recognized for leading large-scale transformation, modernizing critical banking platforms, and delivering technology strategies that drive growth, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and client value.

Since joining BMO in 2002 as a Delivery Lead for Corporate Banking, Alok has held leadership roles across Wholesale Credit Risk, Enterprise Content Management, Commercial Lending, and Equity Capital Markets Technology. Throughout his career, he has led complex enterprise initiatives that have transformed business capabilities, strengthened risk management, and accelerated digital innovation across the bank.

Today, Alok leads a broad technology portfolio supporting the end-to-end client lifecycle across various Wholesale Banking segments (Investment Corporate and Commercial Banking, Client Data, and AML. He is accountable for advancing strategic priorities including digital transformation, data modernization, artificial intelligence, cloud adoption, operational resilience, and technology simplification across Wholesale Banking. Under his leadership, the organization has leveraged AI and data-driven capabilities to accelerate credit decisioning, streamline client and product onboarding, enhance banker productivity, and enable more seamless cross-segment client referrals, improving both employee and client experiences.

Known for building high-performing teams and strong business partnerships, Alok is passionate about harnessing technology, data, and AI to create competitive advantage, accelerate growth, strengthen risk management, and deliver differentiated client experiences.

Alok holds a Post Graduate Degree from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Calcutta. Outside of work, he is committed to mentoring emerging leaders, supporting community development initiatives, and enjoys music, tennis, and cricket.
