This program covers the path to becoming a Functional FusionCapital Summit Finastra Certified Associate (FCA). The classes are designed to deliver the basic FusionCapital Summit v5.7 knowledge across Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office functionalities.

Pre-requisites

  • General understanding of hedging and its purpose
  • General knowledge of bond trading market
  • Working knowledge of the commodity market
  • General knowledge of settlements for payments/receipts
  • General knowledge of the types of information typically required for a customer
  • General knowledge of market risk
  • General knowledge of Money Market
  • Basic knowledge of currency, indices, legal entities
  • General knowledge of Interest Rate Derivatives trades
  • Knowledge of rates in the market place
  • General knowledge of settlements for payments/receipts
  • General knowledge of the types of information typically required for a customer
  • General knowledge of flow generation for trades
  • Knowledge of the bank’s procedure on netting cash flows for counterparties, limiting settlement
  • General knowledge of document life cycles including confirmations, payments
  • General knowledge of trading and when documents should be generated
  • General understanding of what Straight-through-processing means
  • Knowledge of trade entry and what should happen to trades post completion by a trader
